1. Discovery Call
The first step is scheduling a free discovery call. During this call, we’ll discuss your current challenges, goals, and which services (therapy, coaching, or mentoring) might be the best fit for you. This is an opportunity for us to connect and ensure that we’re aligned for the journey ahead.
2. Initial Sessions
After the discovery call, we’ll begin with an initial session to dive deeper into your background, current experiences, and what you hope to achieve. This session helps create a strong foundation for our ongoing work.
Where:
Sessions are typically held virtually via Zoom, phone or text/email, providing flexibility for clients across time zones. For clients based in Connecticut, there is also the option for in-person sessions.
When:
Sessions are scheduled by appointment, and I’m based in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT). We can find a time that works best for both of us, and session frequency will be tailored to your needs.
How:
Virtual sessions are conducted securely via Zoom or phone, creating a comfortable and confidential setting for our work.
Language:
English only.
Feel free to jot down any thoughts, questions, or reflections that come up between sessions. For ongoing clients, I offer email or text communication for urgent matters, provided we establish clear boundaries. This helps maintain focus and support between our sessions.
How Often:
The frequency of sessions will depend on your specific needs. For therapy, weekly sessions may be beneficial, especially at the beginning, while coaching and mentoring often start with bi-weekly sessions. We’ll regularly reassess based on your goals and life circumstances.
For How Long:
The length of our work together varies—some clients prefer short-term, focused sessions for specific concerns, while others opt for open-ended work that allows for deeper exploration. We’ll review your progress regularly and make adjustments as needed.
To help you maximize the value of our sessions, I offer an optional recording and analysis service. This includes:
This service allows you to revisit important moments, supporting your continued growth between sessions.
Payment:
Payment details will be discussed during the discovery call. Invoices will be sent after each session, payable upon receipt. I accept some insurances for therapy along with out of network billing, but we can review more in person. Coaching and mentoring aren’t insurance eligible.
Cancellation Policy:
Please cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance to avoid being charged the full session fee. Emergencies will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Your privacy and confidentiality are of the utmost importance. All sessions are conducted in a secure and confidential setting, and our discussions will be treated with the highest level of professional respect and discretion. Boundaries and communication expectations will be discussed during the discovery call to ensure a clear and ethical relationship throughout our work together. I do follow ethical and licensure guidelines for when confidentiality needs to broken in rare unique sittuations.
